Shelter Reservations
City of Billings Parks and Recreation has some great shelters located throughout the city that are perfect places to host a picnic, party or get together!

All picnic shelters are available on a first come first serve basis unless they are reserved. Reservations for shelters must be paid for in advance at the Parks and Recreation Office. The Parks and Recreation Department will not reserve a shelter until payment is received. Reservations valid from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To reserve a shelter, call our office at 406.657.8371.

Central Park Shelter  with Kitchen Area
This shelter has recently been redesigned and now includes an indoor facility which contains a kitchen preparation area as well as two 8’ tables (seating for approximately 16 people) inside. The outside area of the shelter contains six 8’ tables (seating for approximately 48 people). It does have electricity. The cost to rent this shelter is $100 and also requires a $100 refundable deposit for key return and cleaning.

• PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR EVENT
• PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE MOTOR VEHICLES IN THE PARK WITHOUT PREVIOUS AUTHORIZATION
• PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE TENT STAKES OR OTHER OBJECTS INTO THE GROUND UNLESS YOU HAVE FIRST OBTAINED PERMISSION FROM THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
• PLEASE REMEMBER THAT FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS, DOGS (OTHER THAN SEEING EYE DOGS) ARE NOT PERMITTED IN PUBLIC PARKS
• IF YOU INTEND TO HAVE ALCOHOL AT YOUR PARK EVENT, YOU MUST PURCHASE AN ALCOHOL PERMIT IN ADVANCE AT THE CITY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
