Multi-Use Hard Surface Trails |

- Swords Park Trail: The trail is
two miles long and is located along the Rims
south of Airport Road and east of the N 27th
Street Airport entrance. It is a
beautiful section of trail as it meanders
across the Rims and provides spectacular
vistas of the City and the Yellowstone River
Valley. The BikeNet group placed
several benches and a picnic table along the
corridor for users to enjoy.

- Jim Dutcher Trail (Kiwanis/Metra/Coulson/Mystic
Trail): This trail starts in the
Heights on Mary Street on the old railroad
bed east of Bench Boulevard. It
extends approximately 6.5 miles, passing by
Two Moon Park and trailhead, dropping down
off the Rims by Metrapark, along the
Yellowstone River through Coulson Park and
ending in Mystic Park, past the City Public
Utilities water treatment plant. The
Two Moon Trailhead provides parking with
water and restroom facilities and there is
also water and restrooms located just south
of the public utilities area. Parking
is also available on the back northeast lot
of Metrapark, with an access trail to the
main path by Alkali Creek Bridge/Falls.
- Descro Park Trail: This
half mile of trail meanders along a strip of
parkland connecting Broadwater Avenue to
Central Avenue with a bridge crossing over
the BBWA canal to Meadowlark School and
Millice Park. There is also a
bike/pedestrian street crossing at Central
Avneue that links to Stewart Park Trail.

- Gabel Road Connector Trail:
This section is currently scheduled for
future development with segments already
completed north of King Avenue W. along
Famous Dave's Restaurant and west of 24th
Street West, south of King Avenue by Old
Chicago Pizza. A segment of this trail
is also constructed through part of
TransTech just west of 32nd Street West and
north of Gabel Road.
- Stewart Park Trail: This
trail segment built in 2006 connects Central
Avenue to Monad Road through Stewart Park
and around the ball fields. Eventually
this trail which is over a half mile in
length, will connect to a trail through
Lampman Strip Park and will meet with the
trail along Famous Dave's Restaurant.
- Big Ditch Trail: This trail
section starts at 38th Street West in line
with Colton Blvd. by Poly Vista Park and
Arrowhead Elementary School and includes an
underpass at Shiloh Road. The trail
section continues west to approximately
Larchwood Lane and will be completed in
October 2006. It is hoped to continue
on to 46th Street West and Rimrock West Park
in 2007.
