The Billings Parks and Recreation Department is
teaming up with Cabela’s to give you the
opportunity to learn how to be a successful and
safe ice fisherman. Ice Fishing for beginners
will be an all inclusive course on ice fishing
basics. The course will cover equipment,
preparation, techniques and safety. The first
part of the course will be indoors at Cabela’s
followed by an outdoor, hands on, segment at
Riverfront Park. Participants should be prepared
for all weather conditions. The cost for this
program includes “Ice Fishing Package”
consisting of: XML Ice Rod, and spring bobber.
Cabela’s will also supply the bait, hooks, and
line. Remember to bring a folding chair and sack
lunch. |
