Kite Building For Teens (ages 13-17)
Day: Saturday
Time: 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Kite Building For Adults (ages 18 & Up)
Day: Sunday
Time: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Date: 2/28/10 - Act. # 7577C
Cost: $20.00 (Class size 15 max. - 6 min.)
          (includes all supplies for 2 kites)
Location: Zimmerman Center - 1801 Virginia Lane

Participants will learn two complex (but guaranteed to fly) kite patterns. Instruction includes, depending upon the class; kite design, basic kite math, the science of how kites fly, the history of kite use in aviation and the military, and how to train your kites together. Everyone will have a chance to fly their creations. Several large kites from the Lewis & Clark Kite Exhibit will be on display and flown if the wind cooperates.
