LEARN HOW TO USE THAT NEW
CAMERA YOU GOT FOR CHRISTMAS!
All participants will need to bring their camera
to each class. Day 1: What to look for when
purchasing a new camera and explanations
regarding current equipment for those who have
already purchased one. A very informative
session on what to buy and what to stay away
from - with thousands of different digital
cameras on the market, only a few are worth the
price. Day 2: Camera handling and overview of
controls, exposure modes, video modes,
batteries, image sizes and formats. Day 3 &4:
Four factors involving exposure. Participants
will learn how to use manual mode and how to use
the camera to make perfect exposure every time.
Lighting and depth of field will also be
covered. Day 5: How to capture moments and make
photos that will last in the minds of the viewer
forever. Day 6: Will cover the use of computers,
giving the students ideas on what kind of
software is available for photo manipulation and
ideas on what to purchase. Also covered will be
toning, cropping, manipulation and saving images
to disk, as well as an explanation of printer
functions and ideas on how to get award winning
images printed and framed.
