Have you wanted to learn to fly fish, but
weren’t sure where to start? Or, are you a
person that would like to learn more about how
to “rig” it up, about proper casting techniques
or what fish eat and when? This is the class for
you! Class instruction will include:
- The basics-what you need, what to look
for in selecting equipment, the costs, etc.
- How to rig you line and tie knots
- What fish feed on and the basics of how
to tie flies
- Fly casting techniques and hands on
casting practice
All supplies for tying flies and loaner rods
for casting practice will be provided, but if
you have equipment, you may bring it when
indicated by the instructor. This class is
presented in conjunction with the magic city fly
fishing club.
